Hi I'm new to this website and not sure exactly how it works.  My husband and I just found out that his 30 year life sentence doesn't necessarily mean he will only be serving 30 years - but will only be eligible for parole after 30 years.  The state I'm in - rarely grants parole to "lifers" and instead keeps them in prison for life.  I'm having a very difficult time with the thought of him not ever being released and I don't know how to handle my emotions.  I would like any suggestions you may have.  Thanks.
