Since I have returned from NY seeing my son and granddaughter I haven't been well. I am experiencing a lot of frantic itching on my face,eye and head. Pain is back..am still on antidepressant Nortriptyline (10 mg x 2) at nite.  I stopped the Lyrica...I have been on it for a year starting with six a day down to 2 day but my eyes started blurring so I tapered off to zero.  Mybe this wasn't smart so I am going to call my Dr. and confess.  I was particularly touched by REALITYBYTES and ABESBABE entries these last two days. My heart goes out to them.  Their cases are very much like mine...left side of face,forehead, head and eye down to the tip of the nose. It will be one year Aug 11th.  My Dr. said that only 2% of people who have PHN will go beyond the year. Sure....I would love to know more about the lidocaine infusion that Realitybytes said she had her first treatment.  Also anticipating Methadone.  That's a heavy-duty med. but I have an acquaintance that has to take it for her neurological condition, not Shingles.  My dear friends...I am so eager to hear your stories, exchange info and send my best wishes to you all.  I would really like to hear from you ABESBABE and REALITYBYTES because it sounds much like my history.....hugs and God's blessing are sent to all.....until next time  MY Best...
