90th in Dallas
Hello Community,
We are back in Chicago after 2 weeks in Dallas. It was hot in Dallas with a few days of cooling thunderstorms.
We celebrated Mickie's father's 90th birthday. His 3 daughters and their husbands were there, his 4 granddaughters (3 of which are veterinarians...the other is still in HS. Also in attendance were 2 great granddaughters and one great grandson.
We had Dickie's cater the event. (Please understand that my father-in law would eat at Dickie's every day if he could drive.) All in all it was a great time.
It was really nice to see Harold enjoy himself. It was probably the happiest day in his life in the last 10 years...
Dickie's is a Dallas based BBQ chain.

Happy you\'ve safely returned and had a great time celebrating your FIL\'s 90th birthday. When so many other family members can join in the celebration, especially children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, it really makes it special. If I were in Dallas, BBQ would be my main meals too. Take care, and keep fighting the good fight. Dan
