Well my appointment has been rescheduled and thankfully, only a week later. I think the receptionist could hear the disappointment in my voice and did her best to get me in as soon as possible..... And so she should after all they were ones cancelling my original appointment.I'm trying to gain perspective in my life. I've started keeping a food diary and counting calories. I want to feel well again.... physically, emotionally, spiritually. I'm trying to get a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise every day. So I'm making that my focus .....I want to in a healthy state of mind to make that decision to try again or accept that I will not have another child. I will go to this appointment and see what they say. I will put out the money for the first round of tests. After that, I don't know. I had a great evening tonight with my family.... we carved our pumpkins for Halloween. It's the first year my daughter is really into Halloween. She was up to her armpits in the pumpkin removing the slime and seeds. She reminds me every day to see the glass half full, not half empty and to be grateful for every moment.

I am so glad the appointment was only delayed a week and not more time. Whew! Good luck. Hope your daughter enjoyed Halloween last night.
yup, me too. i mean, relieved that the appt. came within a week. funny story: my regular dr. called me too, had to reschedule my \"first prenatal\" (a little irony there?) appt and want to give me a date in december. thanks for the support, guys, i would be 14 weeks by then and you never laid eyes on me yet! what a crock, it\'s a good thing they are here to help me through the riskiest part of the journey [roll eyes here]. this visit will give you the help you need in making the right decision for you and your family. is it about a week into november, then?
p.s. good luck with your health regimen. i agree completely that it\'s the most appropriate thing to focus on while trying to decide. best wishes.
