Just wanted to write about one of those bittersweet moments.  My daughter crawled in bed with me yesterday morning and proceeded to say "I wish I was a big sister."  I said "so do I".  She asked why she wasn't a big sister and I said "I guess we need to keep praying to God for a baby."  At this point my sweet angel bowed her head and whispered "please God can you give mommy and daddy a baby."  Well of course I started to weep and she was instant concern.  "It's okay mommy.  Why are you crying?  I'm here I'll take care of you forever."I am so grateful for her.  Her 4th birthday is in a month.  I don't know if it is because of her friends being sisters or because of some show like "Big Sister" Dora but she has been asking for a baby brother or sister.  Well... to be truthful she does alternate this request with a pony.    It is just one of those bittersweet moments.

It must have been tough for you to have that conversation with your daughter. Your family is in my thoughts as you facing decisions to make. Children have the most beautiful wisdom... Don\'t they?

this made me cry. my little girl told me today that she is sad because she doesn\'t have a baby. ??? now we do talk about whether my temp went up this morning and how much weight to put on the opk, but we don\'t say we want a baby. i felt like she was raeding my mind. i\'m so lucky to have a sweet little girl like her. she\'s the one who taught me what kids are all about. i bet you feel the same.
