Meet with my oncologist tomorrow.  Heading towards treatment  8 on Thursday if blood work is good.  I so much want to be done with this by Christmas, though I suppose if I stay to schedule I will have my last infusion right around Pearl Harbor Day.  ( I wonder if that is significant?:)  The weather is getting colder here and I can really feel it more in my feet and hands.  Booties and gloves are in my near term future.  The last treatment the dr. reduced my dosage by 25% and it was MUCH easier.  Wonder what he will decide this week?  Bummer of a weekend for New England sports fans.    Both the Sox and the Pats went down so there wasn't much to celebrate.  The Pats game was good though, lots of tension up to the finish.  Can't figure out the Denver uniforms. Are the "edgy" or just ugly?   The weekend ended on a good note.   Went with my husband, son and his girlfriend to Boston for dinner to celebrate my son's new job. It was nice to get into the city again.  I was feeling well enough to overeat, which is rather a mixed blessing these days, lol.

Hi CC,
Just checked my e-mails and saw your update. We are here in Maui and it is
absolutely truly paradise. Staying in a end unit in Kahana and have an incred-ible view of the Pacific and can go out the door walk about 15 feet and dip the toes in. The beach is not a good one for swimming and frolicking but so darned beautiful. Besides the pool and the hot tub does it for me. Heading over to Oahu for a week and will get to see my brother and his wife for the first time in 20 years. He has resided in Japan since I was a small child. So this trip has alot of happiness for me.

I have my laptop with me so I can keep in touch with home. Saw your update and you know I wish the best for you tomorrow. Every day is one closer to the
end of your journey. Let me know, I will be saying one of my little special pray-
ers just for you.

Watched the Pat\'s game, yep, it was a bit of a thriller but a disappointing end.
Does not seem to be their year so far. They seem to have been a miracle making team in the past so guess we will have to wait and see game by game. Red Sox really are not the team they should be, kind of sad. But...hey,
there is always next year. Seems we have said that alot over the years. At
least it is Bruins season time. Not much of a Celtics fan or basketball.

Should go for not, time to go to bed and listen to the most musical sound of the surf. I have slept like a baby here. Love...love...love the ocean.
Think good thoughts for you,
Pat
