9 months later

Sunday december 22 moved from my hometown; Sunday 20 September for 9 months, with me not giving birth to anything special in my new town.
Sunday, biking around town at 630 in morning, i did come across a white business envelope in the street; picked it up, was unmarked, sealed shut, and heavy; i simply tossed it on the hood of a nearby car and biked home.  A mere few seconds later I wondered if it was full of money, though I'd like to think it was full of drugs, the way it felt.  Obsessing over it, I wondered if the envelope even belonged to the car i threw it on.  The next day, I "lost" eleven dollars in the hallway where i live; ran out my apartment and down the hall to find the money there; luckily it was, again, around 630 in morning, when most of the tenants were asleep.
I really hate how i'll...always?...be brain dead/a slow thinker; yesterday at farmer's market i was dead silent when i was charged $2.50 for a hamburger, though sign in front of me read $2.
I am at least learning to say "you're welcome", to strangers i do minor, brief, favors for, like picking up something they dropped.  I probably got too used to people in my hometown being silent to me.
Some of the wheelchair bound tenants in my building seem to give me dirty looks, like they're jealous that i can bicycle; i wasted the summer not bicycling early in morning cause of that.  Some wheelchair bound tenants, with oxygen tanks, would be smoking outside the building's entrance at 6 in morning.  last week, with my arm bandaged, i made sure to tell some tenants i passed in the hall that i just came from donating blood, so no gossip from anybody about my arm.
My cat, as usual, for inspiration: when i was hyper  about his health, i started hiking up the 6 flight of steps in my building; i still do that for exercize.  And I'm planning  to bike this weekend at 530 in morning, to walmart 3 miles away, with the first time i did that was because i had to get hairball medicine for him there.  Hopefully, the back wheel of my bike won't slip out, like it did one time, with me almost flying over the handlebars.  And, i"m gonna be on the look-out  for any possible future stuffed envelope.

Oh boy! Now we shall all be wondering what was in that envelope!

The 50 cents must be a new national hamburger tax.

Who knows what people have on their minds when they look at us?

A week later, and I\'m finally getting the film noir/treasure of sierre madre nutty thoughts of the mystery envelope out of my head.

Sunday, a week later, I had my bike locked outside where I live---to find somebody yanked at the chain lock, between 6 and 7 on a sunday morning.

Lots of crazy/sleazy police log write-ups to read about re my new hick town, in my old hometown 20 page newspaper, but at least I do feel safe in my apt building.

yeah, it\'s a lot better, with me having become addicted to farmers market 3 miles away...gonna be a long winter without the cheap archeological finds from the 1960s through 90s i kept finding for sale there;)
