9/21/12 29 weeks preggers!

Can't believe I am now 29 weeks! I'm starting to get excited being that I only have 11 more weeks to go till my due date! Baby Aydan is getting so big, thus I am too, but I don't feel too bad about it. I went for my 29 week appt today. I am now going every 2 weeks since I am high risk. I had an appt earlier this month for my 1 hr glucose test and unfortunately, I failed. I went back the following week and did the 3 hr glucose test and it was torture!
As of today, the baby is doing great... He is growing like a weed and is still pretty active. His kicks are super strong and sometimes when he punches me "down there", I swear it feels like his hand is gonna just fall out. I finally put on a little bit of weight. For the past 2 months I haven't gained but maybe 1 pound but today I got weighed and I've gained 5 pounds since my last appt 2 weeks ago! I did mention to my doctor that I've been feeling a "tightening" in my belly put it's not painful or regular... and of course was told that I am now experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. I am in the 3rd trimester so it's pretty common and normal. I also got the results from my 3 hr glucose test and unfortunately I failed :( so I am now gestational diabetic and I have to go next Monday to talk to a nurse about diabetes and how to check my blood sugar and eat right and stuff. Other than that, everything is great! I have an ultrasound next week to check the baby's ventricle in his brain again to make sure it's not enlarging. I am nervous about that... I'm just tired of hearing bad news.
I have also been stressed cause of my husband's new job. He works in construction now and leaves at 5am and gets home around 8-9pm or later sometimes! So I don't get to see him as much or spend quality time with him and it makes me feel lonely. Also, it doesn't pay as good as when he was working in logging. But, hopefully work will slow down when the time changes and it gets cold outside. Then on top of that, we received his hospital bill from when he had his apendix removed and it is $14,256! I guess we can just mail $5 a month so they can't send him to collections. But, I was hoping that TennCare would pick up the bill since he doesn't have insurance and it was an emergency surgery. I guess I can call his case worker at DHS and ask her why they haven't done so but I don't have a phone anymore. :(
Then on top of that, we are suppose to be getting the rest of the stuff off the list for the lawyer... we just have a few things left and I still need to get a few more affidavits written from family and friends to prove our marriage is real, but it's times like this when you find out who your real friends are. My (I guess ex) best friend that I've known forever... has yet to write a letter for me. She was with me the day I met my now husband 4 years ago, so her story is crucial! She never got around to doing it... so I offered to type up the letter for her and all she had to do was copy it... she STILL hasn't done it! I hope she never asks me for anything ever again!
I guess this is all I'm gonna write for now and i will update soon!

I am so happy that the baby is growing, and I\'m sorry to hear about the gestational diabetes. I also failed the 1 hr and had to do the 3 hr. The three hour was so icky :(

I hope everyone gets those letters together soon! I\'m sorry you have to take all these steps, especially when you\'re being upfront and honest. I\'m also sorry to hear about the medical bill, but I love your approach. I need to do that more with the medical bills we\'re trying to cover to avoid collections. Grrrr on those!
