Thank you!

Wow! I've been a member for less than a day, and so many of you have reached out a kind hand and heart to support me in my painful journey to healing. I can't thank you enough! You are truly angels, just like your children are in Heaven.
Thank you!
All my best!
Dee

Grateful that you are feeling warmly welcomed Dee as that is vital. There is no \"one size fits all\" for this path and I know that I continue to learn and to grow by being in relationship with all of these amazing women.

We come to love one another\'s children and I look forward to getting to know yours in time and you as well. It feels as if we do have a lot in common and you asked where I was from in Utah. I moved to SLC and lived in the Cottonwood Heights area near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon for many years. Where are you?

I believe each of us finds FMO at the perfect right time so this is your time.

Hand in hand and Heart to heart,
XO Joanie

So happy that you are feeling welcome and I pray that this will be your home for however long you will be here. Other people mean well in their comments to us, but to have another mom KNOW and FEEL your heart because she has walked in your shoes is priceless.
I am so sorry you are here on this site for the reason that you are, BUT I am so happy that you ARE HERE - These moms are life changing.
Sending a hug and praying for moments of peace to you during this holiday season. ((((hugs)))) Vicki

Welcome to SOTH, they have seen my darkest, deepest, ugly, and happy times and they always remain with you. A lot of wisdom here, may you find the peace you need.

Joanie, I used to live in Holladay, west of Cottonwood Canyon for 10 years. Now I\'m living in Syracuse, approx. 25 miles northwest of Salt Lake. Thanks again!

Cindy, I know what you mean. It\'s been the worst of times but also the best of times, as I feel my son Ryan has sent so much love and comfort ... and blessings to me and my family. It\'s like the deeper the pain, the greater capacity for JOY! May you also find an abundance of peace! Dee

I just wanted to mention that in an effort to build on my healing process, I\'ve decided to start a support group for survivors of suicide in my small community of Syracuse, UT. I held the first meeting on Dec. 2, and two people showed. But I believe this is what I\'m supposed to do. Please let me know if you know anyone who would like to attend this safe gathering. Thanks so much!
