One of the things that I am struggling with is the passing of time. My children are growing up. My oldest is almost 4 and he's a bright, intelligent little boy who's moving and changing and adjusting to his world. And yet his younger brother stays the same. It is as if he is caught in time. His body grows, his face changes, and yet, mentally, he is not much beyond a 9-month old. At least not that we can tell. So while time keeps moving for everyone else, it seems to stand still for him. This is hard to watch. I want him to grow and laugh and play. I want everything for him. And yet I do not know what the future will hold for him. In the end, though, he is still my angel.

I am fine, and no the parents have not come along as of yet, oh well in time... So where is the training? and what is it? I`m sorry you have the week with your husband!
I have such a big mouth, I ticked off my ex by letting him know what I thought, about how they seem to be doing with the baby, but life does go on and he is my ex...
It seems your husband if I remember right is on the road alot? If so that must help, if hes not home all the time?
We have company coming in tonight, we live at the coast and do tend to entertain alot.
Have a good one, your in my prayers. Cheryl

Have you read any books by Temple Grandin?(I\'m not sure of the last name)She is an adult with autism, and her story is inspiring. I distinctly remember one thing she said in her book-she always knew what was going on around her when she was growing up, but she just couldn\'t communicate back. Don\'t write you youngest child off so soon. You never really know what\'s going on behind those eyes. Also, you have to ask yourself, is he happy? Because that\'s more important than whether or not he\'s keeping up with other kids his age. Maybe I\'m different than others, but I don\'t view my son\'s autism as an affliction. By, the way, I\'m also a writer.
