There were many significent events in my life in regard to this jerk, whoops, father figure.  The hard part is to pick those ones that were more ghastly than the others...  At the age of 18 I was in the University of Massachusetts at Boston.  In those days if you entered into college after you graduated high school then there was no interuption in your child suport and by law your tuition was supposed to be paid.  This school should not be confused with the other branch of U.Mass.  There were no dorms, everyone commuted to school.  Tuition was about 300 bucks a semester.  The first two semesters my tuition was paid although so late that I had to reregister and hope I could still get in the classes I needed.  The second year tutition was due, the due date came and went like normal with no check for me.  On the day school started still no check.  This goes against everything Jewish kids are taught.  My older sister has gone away to college and lived there and he paid for everything,  probable 2000 a semester.  I was enrolled in a state run university and I was having problems registering for classes so I called him rather angry at the time.  I started out rather polite but I wanted to know what was going on.  He explained that because he had gotton married and divorced twice since the marriage to my mother he was to broke to pay for anything at all.  He was still taking his exotic vacations and all.  I accused him of drinking and whoring the money that should of gone for my education away.  He actually got angry.  Said that he owed me nothing and not to contact him again.  For the only son of a Jewish man to not get educated is incredible!  I did not talk with him again for a few years.
