O.K. Time to give you, dear reader lol,  a better view of who and what I was way way back then!  At 14 we moved to Framingham, I had a mother that hated, hate is the correct word, me.  A father that did not or could not communicate with me.  By then I was drinking and smoking.  I was the type of kid that would not back down from anything at all.  You know the type I mean, there is always one in every bunch.  Takes on any dare.  Fights anyone anytime. Drinks to get drunk not relax, takes any drug he can lay his hands on.   Arthur was backing me seeing that he saw my efforts as normal teenage angst.  The other children saw me as fearless, very independant, a perfect leader for the times back then.  I guess I turned the neighborhood kids into my kind of gang, not gang in the sense of what it means today but more like what we saw in "West Side Story".  I was always getting thrown out of the house back then.  I lived in the woods one time for three months, in a cabin that we built for several months.  Anywhere but at home.  Going over to friends houses to shower.  Which brings up another funny story.  My best friends girlfriend's parents were out of town as was he and she invited me to crash at her house.  I did and she threw a party to celebrate her parents being gone.  You have to know her parents so I will explain them a bit to you.  Mom was a Irish Redhead with a temper to match her flaming  hair.  Dad was 100% hot italion with an equally hot temper!!!   The party got out of hand, as all parties back then did, and I ended up sleeping in her bed fully dressed, she was my best friends girlfriend!!! lol, about 7am in come the parents and catch us in bed together, I thought Dad was gonna kill me, like Mom wasn't?  And I hadn't even done anything!!! lollol Serves me right for all the things I had gotten away with!  I ran for my life!!!!!  About four hours later the girlfriend calls me back and tells me to come back to her house as my mother and her parents were sitting there contemplating calling the cops, for statuatory rape I presume?, and back I went.  It took me about four hours of trying to explain what I was doing sleeping there, sleeping in the same bed as their daughter and why I wasn't living at home.  My mother just sat there mute.  But finally I did explain myself to their satisfaction and peace reigned.  The moral of the story is thus;  If you going to get caught doing nothing, do something!!! lollol

Good installment!! (we should add funny, funnier, funniest to the ratings catagory). But my friend - I think the boy who was not afraid of anything was the one that saved your behind. Good that you went that route instead of buckling under and God bless Arthur for backing you.

When you say you explained yourself \"to their satisfaction\", do you mean after many hours they finally believed you? Or that you satisfied them and just told them you slept with her? I am guessing it is the former explanation from the lack of any info of anything to do with the police afterwards, but just a little confused. And yeah I totally agree with Lindajean above. (PS. I am reading every single one of these journal entries as you go along Eric, just, as I\'ve explained, I keep schtum if I don\'t know what to comment). :)

Ha ha! Awww, you were being the perfect gent. And I can imagine how infuriating that must have been getting in trouble for something you hadn\'t done. Must have though, I might as well have! But it just shows your human kindness that in that situation, you held on to your morals. There are a lot who wouldn\'t have. Well done you! :-)
