Alright kiddies time for yet another chapter of "how Eric Turns..." lol I guess the next significant thing that I remember was an incident involving a russian hat that my father had bought. It was a silly looking thing but I thought nothing about it one way or the other. One day it dissapeared. My mother came to me and asked me what I had done with the hat. She said that I had thrown it out and marched me outside and in front to the trash cans. She then told me to pick which of the three trash cans I had placed it in. I really didn't know which on so I picked the middle one. She went and opened it and viola, there was the hat. She beat me for throwing the hat away. To this day I remember throwing that stupid hat in the trash. Twenty or so years later I was sitting at a Thanksgiving dinner at her place telling this charming story when out of the blue my older sister says that she was the one that threw away the hat. There was no reason for her to admit to this unless she had done it. My very clear memory was false. The power of brain washing huh???

Oh wow - what an interesting thought. Parents have so much power to shape their children\'s lives - who knows if we really are who we became. Thank you for sharing that - it really hit home.
Its amazing that are parents see what they only want to see. I remember my sister and I had gotten in an arguement and I pushed her shoulder hard and walked past her, my brother saw and came running and started to choke me. My mom came to the door started yelling at us, and told me to go to my room. Like I was the one who was choking someone. I never saw that my brother even got in trouble for what he did. Life sucks sometimes. Im so sorry you had things like that happen to you growing up. No one deserves to be treated like that.
this reminds me of a time a mug went missing at home. I was probably about 13 or so and my brother 15. It was in the morning before school and my Mum wouldn\'t believe that we hadn\'t taken the mug. She made us stand there until one of us admitted it. Eventually, she gave up and sent us off (very late) to school. Later that evening, unaware of the morning\'s procedings, he casually walked out of the garage (with said mug) and placed it into the washing up bowl.
he = my Dad!
WOW...where you the middle child?
Dear Clueless Jail Bait, lollollol Yes.
