So here's to another journal entry, I realise I haven't written since getting back about a week ago but that's something you'll have to live with, thousands of imaginary readers, sorry. Anyway there haven't really been any major developments over here, I've really just been getting my head and my life in order, which has been working out actually. Well revision is going well, I've got a job now (tutoring any of four different subjects, yay) which pays really well, whenever I actually do it. Most people don't need more than a couple of hours of tutoring a week so it isn't actually a great money-maker but it's great for a little bit of extra spending cash. The whole 'trying to get in shape' thing is going well too. It's actually quite enjoyable too when you get into it. Spending half an hour running 6 miles is a great way to spend half an hour. It leaves you feeling great and at the end of it you can just fall into a shower to cool off for a bit and pull yourself together again (and by that I mean get your heart rate and breathing under control, not cry for a little, I've managed to go without that as a result after running so far XD). There's also a guy who I haven't seen in ages who lives about ten minutes away from me but I haven't seen him in ages, I really should have a chat with him and catch up for a bit. Next bit of news for the update: I'm getting a new ipod nano in a few days, the new generation looks so cool. It's about the same size as a shuffle and has a touch screen. Money well spent if you ask me. Predictably I'm getting it in blue. Everything I wear is blue, even on my wrists. Even the bracelet that my sister made me is blue. I should really get her to make another one too. The one I have now is falling to pieces. Final update before getting onto what I'm thinking about: I've found out that Durham uni has a Judo club, which is great because I really want to pick it up again, definitely a point in Durham's favour, I still can't decide where to go though. Anyway I've decided that getting in shape will be to the end of taking up again and being physically strong enough to only need to build on technique. So there you have it; I've got the work, the play, the toys and the dream, all I need now is the girl.
By some astronomical and unintelligible coincidence this is actually what I'm going to spend the second part of this entry talking about. I have my own theory on this, but before this I just want to mention that I don't like it when people say 'I don't understand girls/boys'. You don't have to, all you have to understand is that people are crap, everyone is. She's crap, you're crap, I'm crap, we're all crap. I don't really need to understand any more than that. People are, and will always be, jerks. You don't have to understand that, you just have to deal with it. Now the theory: is it possible to have a functional relationship in the camp (school) because so far every single relationship I've seen in that place has ended with one person getting thoroughly reamed out by the other person who is just unaffected by it. This phenomenon occurs repeatedly and it always repeats with the relapse, same cycle with the same person getting hurt, there aren't civil break ups and it's always really complicated. It doesn't have to be complicated and with all the people I talk to there's always one person who's trying to make it simple and the other person who resolutely pulls against making anything solid out of it. The one thing about all of this is that if you think that you've had a civil break up from high school or public school or whatever, you are almost definitely the one who hurt, not that got hurt, and if you know that you've hurt someone then I really hope you showed a little remorse for it. Next thing on the list, if you've hurt someone (this is something I've wanted to get off my chest for quite a while) don't tell them about just how great a time you were having while they were crushed because of you, don't talk about the guys you went out with since then, and don't move straight onto someone else because it makes us feel like three day old crap. I could go on and on with this, and might just, it's not like anyone reads this. Still it's getting late so I'm going to go to bed.
Just as an afterthought I've developed a bad habit of leaving my laptop on while I'm not at it so people message me on facebook and I'm not there to reply so I have no idea if anyone has sent me a message or if they think I'm ignoring them. Still I haven't had a single message on anything so I don't think anyone has tried to contact me. Ah well...
Toodles

Just as an afterthought I've started listening to some really crap music now. Mainly 99 Problems by Jay Z. Yeah, Jay Z... Now I realise that he has the musical talent and lyrics of an unpotty-trained labradoodle (trying not to understate that) but the lyrics say something to me (never thought I'd be saying that) but it's really just the chorus because there are some really funny jokes that you can make out if it. 'If you're having quidditch problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a snitch aint one' (guess the actually lyrics) 'If you're having business problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a pitch aint one' etc, etc... but also because I actually feel like it's true for me at long last. Next step on is to find a girl at university and get into a real relationship, you know, simple, not fake, no lies and so on, and so on...
Now I really am going
