Its been an eventful few days, starting from tuesday. It was a school thing at the Birmingham symphony hall where everyone went off for an afternoon for a concert with singing and instruments and a whole big thing. Being about the least musically talented person to walk the face of the planet I was, of course, not playing, however that didn't stop me from turning up early with the musicians and doing my own thing during the rehearsals. My own thing was running the photographers who went to take pictures of what was happening. Its weird, this is the first time I've actually acted in the capacity of team leader, and even though I didn't do too much, I still did a little so I wasn't entirely useless. It was a good day though, I did something I enjoy for a whole day and I got to chat with a few people that I see regularly, like roy, and a few people that I don't see regularly, like steph, so it was really quite fun.
Next wednesday, Satnav was around, or so steph told me. I asked her to text me when he was about in Oundle but she didn't, which was a shame. I wonder how he is at the moment, and when he got back from France. Mais, c'est la vie. I didn't end up seeing him at all, probably because of my phone acting up again. On that note I've finally started using my new handset which is great, my old one was falling apart a little and every so often seemed to decide that it didn't really want to be a phone any more, it would want to be a tree or a toaster and play hand grenade tennis with the dryads and the mermaids. Weird tangent but it really would stop working like that. It'd decide that I didn't have any texts or that I had not contacts or things like that.
Now onto thursday, kind of the end to this short and slightly boring, completely tangential blowing off of steam. Results day, the dreaded reckoning when all things and stuff happen. The melodrama kind of fizzled out halfway through there, anyway after ten exams in two modules I got full marks and in another two I have to retake because I got Bs, not the same ones by the way. Kind of weird though, I never thought I'd get resits and full marks in the same batch of exams ever, kind of like the much sought after 1E, the closest I ever got was a 1D. Thats the school ranking system for effort and how well you do going 1-5 and A-E. 1 means full marks in everything, 5 means rubbish marks, A means a lot of effort, E means none. Anyway that day progressed much the same as any other until the evening when we went to a comedy club in cambridge to see a foul mouthed ginger guy with a very short haircut (not me, just to clear that up, he was called Andrew Lawrence) and I'm pretty sure my housemaster didn't realise just what a rich area it is for 40 public school arse's to go to somewhere where people go to have the piss taken out of other people. It was worth a lot of laughs and quite a few awkward looks. It actually surprised me how long it took for him to cotton on to the fact that we were that kind of audience though.
I'm rambling so I'll get onto a more serious turn of events. I've decided that I'm going to try and change myself, starting with my detrimental habitual behaviour. This means getting rid of all of the laziness and not working hard enough, getting homework in at the right time, taking antibiotics at the right time (for acne, just to clear that up), sleeping at the right time, not drinking too much at the weekend and sending stupid messages, which I've actually found another way to stop doing even if I do drink the same amount and not going on here every single day, its a bad habit, especially seeing as noone even reads this anymore, if you do then prove me wrong and say so. I'm also going to try and make new good habits, like seeing friends, talking to the right people more and the wrong people less, being more honest (I only tell lies of ommision though) and I might even take up the guitar yet again (third time in a row now). Anyway I'm rambling now so I'm going to stop myself there.
Anyway thats about everything and anything thats going on with me right now, full rundown, so I've got some record of it, especially seeing as I'm the only one who actually looks through these any more. Anyway, judging by my past record it'll probably be another couple of months until I write again, but hey, thats just a rough guess, so take care until next time.
