I just finished reading up on a condition that I knew nothing about until tonight when it was mentioned real fast on a crime drama on TV.  It is called 'Deprersonalization Disorder'.  OMG..., I google searched it and WOW, I was able to find some really really INTERESTING information on it.  A lot of the symptons listed are similar to mine. With many that strongly resemble the way I've been feeling for years... best described as, LOST WITHIN MYSELF.It is mentioned that an anti depressant called 'Maripan' is helpful in treating this disorder.  Are there others out there who've been on this med?  'Anxiety-Depersonalization Syndrome' is also mentioned as something experienced by those more inclined to be Manic. 'Temporal Lobe Epilepsy' is also mentioned, although I haven't checked into that yet.  The words 'automaton', and 'ruminating' are used, but both I still need to find definitions on.  Lots of stuff  to think about, and bring to the attention of my Doctor...who DOES NOT always stay on top of Mental Health issues. So please read up on it, and share with me afterward what you thought of it.  Google search, 'The Stranger in the Mirror' as well.   A book I was able to access with real  quotes on how people with this condition feel.  Really interesting.  Something to think about at the very least...I AM lost within myself.  At times watching myself from the inside out.  Not really there.  In a dream like state.  More now than in the past.  Seems I'm spending more and more time alone.  Lost the desire to wake during the day.  Staying up late at night.  Drinking more.  Eating unhealthy foods.  Just living, but NOT experiencing joy.  Would be lost wthout my partner, with whom I'm forced to put on a front with.  The act of acting has become more and more part of who I am, or I should say..WHO I'M NOT.  Waithing for the Academy Award..lol.  LOST WITHIN MYSELF.  I'm sure you've all been there (?)  I'm ready to head back but I've lost the directions.  If any of you have a map or know the way, please let me know....All Kidding aside,..IT'S HELLRoscoe

WOW! Thanks for the heads up. I have never heard of this disorder or the medication. I will do my research and get back to you. What I went through last months was the cycle of the down part of the BP, ( so I think, summer was here, dealing with death, no alcohol, no smoking, no recreacional drugs, no sex, was I alive? is that a way of living?) but I get back to you as soon as I read more about it. Once gain THANKS!!
