I'm feeling terrible about the tragedy that hit Virginia, the worst ever from what they say. Life is fragile...
It helps me to realize that in so many ways I have so much to be thankful for. I'm warm after all, have a comfortable home, and recently have met, as a matter of speaking, a lot of wonderful people on this website. I found it by fluke and it has been one of the best experiences I've had in a long long time. For those of you out there that I have shared with, and you know who you are, I thank you for giving me an opportunity to feel better just by knowing there are others out there willing to listen and understand...
From people assisting me in answering questions about my medications and medical concerns (recommending Matt's website was very helpful) (emailing a Dr. in Mexico, very thoughtful) (light therapy is a great suggestion)...to a particular someone willing to listen to me bitch about my Mom (The Mantra is thought provoking, & your advise, incredible!)...and even a special someone who sends inspirational poems and has taken a special interest in Leo, my bunny...
I feel better than I was last week. I believe by communicating with the few of you out there that I've become online friends with that I'll start feeling much better as a result. Thank you for caring, and trust that I am her for you as well...
Hugs,
Roscoe

Welcome to the site. The Virginia thing is a huge shock.
I didn\'t know anything about it until I got on the web today,
but I was in a class all day today and then I had a chiropractor
appointment. Anyway, let me know if there is anything I can do
to help. This site has helped me feel less alone. I used to
have a lot of friends, but I think over the years I distanced myself
because of the depression. The support I find here is very helpful.
