I see my specialist on May the first to determine whether the meds I'm taking are best for me. I'm fairly certain that the lamictal and the seroquel are OK but what I'm uncertain about is the wellbutrin that I'm taking as well (100 mg). I'm feeling really discontented and anxious. Have been for a few days. My GP told me that the wellbutrin will help me from falling into a state of depression. He said that the mood stabilizer prevents mania but doesn't control the depression. Is there perhaps another antidepressant that has proven to more effective for bipolar's? Feedback would be helpful my friends. This is all new to me and the more info I'm able to gather the more educated I'll become. I believe in being proactive when it comes to things like this. Doctors have messed me up pretty badly over the years. I'm at a point now where I'm really apprehensive trying another medication. It seems to have affected my memory, as well as other things. 15 years of swallowing all different kinds of pills can't be good. I'm trying to look on the brighter side and be thankful that my condition has finally been diagnosed correctly and that I'm on the right track, but past 'bullshit' from Doctors has made it difficult for me to know who to trust (?). Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can make. Sending good vibrations out to all of you,
Roscoe

Dear friend,
I wish i can be of help today, but quite honestly I am afraid I can\'t. Since I was diagnosis I had only been on lithium, and it was recently that my dr. added lamictal. I hope that someone else can help you with your questions. Awareness is the key, so you are in the right path. If you do not h=get help here, you may want to post this questions on the discussion board. As always be sure to do some research and also to discuss it with your dr. One thing that is very frustrating is that you have to wait to see your dr. until May. In the midtime, keep researching. Good luck!
