Thanks to all of my friends on DS. Your support has meant the world to me. Sometimes I feel so isolated and sad, and just knowing I have you all to turn to has been great. I hope I have helped you too. Chris
This group is a very thoughtful bunch of individuals who have traveled the same path. The support aided me greatly in the process to return to a functional human being. I have rounded the corner and see new directions in my future. I now remember Sally for the good times we had rather than dealing with her loss. 31 years was a long time but I know she wants me to live my life for me as well as for her. To that endeavor I am on a great path with a wonderful friend I meet on DS and we are building a new life together. Never too late my friend. Peace and a big Montana hug to you!
I don\'t think I would have made it this far without all the great people in this group. You all know how hard it is especially if your lonely. I thank each and everyone of you. It\'s still a struggle but I know I\'m not alone. Thank you all. (((Hugs))) Linda
Amen!!! Like the Dewman, I am now focusing on the wonderful memories of my 31 years with Art. I do not know what I would have done without DS and all the wonderful people on this site. Without you, I would still be wandering around helpless and lost. I am now moving forward. Thank you to each and everyone of you!!!! Hugs to you Chris!! Thanks for posting.
I am so glad to read your posts because today I am not having a good day. I think the tears have been building, so now am just sitting here crying. Then I hope to move forward. It is just so difficult hearing about all our, now my, couple friends who are retired and having the time of their lives, and I walk my retirement path alone. how do I move forward? linda
I know that seeing couples reminds us of what we have lost. We don\'t have any choice, we have to go on alone. I try to get together with friends, and I play a lot of cards at the senior center. It\'s not like having Susie with me, but it limits the loneliness. Hugs to you Linda.

I feel exactly the same way. Am so grateful for all these good people who \"listen\" (and understand) all of our feelings. Hugs, Darlene
