I picked up Susie's ashes today. I'm missing her a lot. I talked to her almost everyday for 32 years and I need time to adjust to her being gone.
I went to bible class this morning, against my nature-which is reclusive. I depended on Susie to be my conduit to most social things. I know that I have to get out and join in or I will be isolated. I am liking the DS group with all the friendly folks.

I take my hat off to you, I know it takes a lot to get out there and join in doing things. Lone time is good but too much of it is not good. Good for you!
Hugs, Sandra
I keep my husbands (Brownie) that was his nickname, ashes in my family room. I talk to him all the time. It makes me feel better. Anything that helps and makes you feel better. I have found going out just to the grocery store of whatever helps after being home a few days. It\'s hard. Hardest thing I\'ve ever had to deal with. Stay strong. Hugs, Linda
