Blah..
As I work on getting my house ready to put up for sale, I find that my emotions are getting the best of me every night..I keep finding little things to trigger sadness and tears..When will this end?? Will it get better once i have actually moved, or will it be worse? God I hope its not worse..

I\'m going through similar emotions at present . . . whilst in process of house moving. You can check out my last journal . . it\'s like we are on the same page, so this must be normal. I think it\'s a process and like you . . I hope it gets better and not worse. I sometimes have to remind myself that it\'s darkest before the dawn. I wish you much luck with your house sale and move. Hugs, D
I sold our home last year and as it was going through escrow my daughter and I walked through it as she held Morey\'s urn, we both cried and cried......the wound of his death was so raw within us both but the care and upkeep of this house was overwhelming and I couldn\'t do it alone.
My children all live far enough way to make it impossible for them to help me and the cost of keeping the house going was becoming all I could focus on as I work a full-time job.
The children knew that it had to be done.
It\'s taken me almost a year to reconcile with my decision as I spent many sleepless nights feeling guilt over selling a home that we had owned for over 35 years and that Morey had put his heart and soul into.
I\'m feeling more right and better about all of it. Please know I understand what you\'re going through and I do promise - All your feeling and emotions do fall into place and it DOES GET BETTER!
It\'s an emotional process,
Roz
We both cried
Thanks to both of you.. your right for sure, the care and upkeep of this house is way more than i can handle alone, especially since im at work all day ; I\'m having so much trouble knowing whats \"normal\" these days and I\'ve definitely been having the sleepless & crying nights as well..
More and more i think there needs to be a service people register with that just \"takes care\" of all this stuff for widows and widowers
