I've moved on to the second day of membership, and I feel good. Within the last few hours, I've connected with people and made more friends. I have participated in online community forums before, but none of them have really met my needs. Sure, I had fun and established friendships, but there were two very important things missing which was common courtesy, and a therapeutic quality. Since I've joined DS, I haven't come across one mean word from anyone, and I appreciate that. Members don't appear to be disrespectful towards one another, and there's a positive vibe on this site. This has become a good resource of supportive help for me, and I truly enjoy helping others as well. Still taking things slowly, but I'll get there eventually.

I regret any negative input, but feel I must make sure you are not hurt or surprised. Probably 99% of DS DEPRESSION GROUP membership are of depressed people (including myself). Your optimism and positivity is gracious and appropriate. Just know that there WILL be dischord, anger, insanity, misunderstandings, accusations, etc. I only mention it to let you know the downside to an anonymous website featuring depressed members. Take what does you well, give what you wish, and ignore the rest. Good luck to you.
I\'m aware that the things which you mentioned are unavoidable because depression does affect mood swings. But overall, I\'m still hopeful. Thank you for caring!
