Took Tas to the children's hospital very frustrating time with the physio sure she is well meaning but I don't think she is hearing me .My daughter has had Jra for 11 years now  I know to try compresses and try and do some gentle  stretching exercise and for her to pace herself . My daughters knee is twice the size of the other have you ever tryed doing exercise when it is that swollen and your ankle is too . Crikey Frustrated  ,very hard to keep my stress levels in order . Joint injection list is 6 weeks away and she will have to try and manage going to school and endure that ammount of time unless they get a cancellation .     I went to the doc he has put her on 500mg x2 a day of naproxen and omeprazole and paracetamol too he will write to the hospital too .At least he seems to be acutely aware how swollen her leg is . Kind of frightening when as she gets older we don't get to see the rheumatologist but get side lined to the physio who wants to give you blah blah seems to me like a keep you on hold ,gate keeper tactic .    Got 4 apts next week myself at the hospital .Hopefully she will get a cancellation or the doctors note will push them along . I 'm seeing the accupuncturist hopefully I can stop from getting stressed with this and Tas can start smiling again .
