Feeling pissed off and hurt. The new adoptive parents we just left our boys with on Saturday have informed me that I don't need to come to any further dr meetings or see them again. I guess a year and a half doesn't mean anything to her.
I bet that is really frustrating. Do you know if the adoptive parents are asking for space for a short period of time (weeks or months) to help the boys adjust, or forever? Have you asked them if they think letters or phone calls would be okay? Maybe you can find a creative solution that help you (and the boys) maintain your relationship with the new parents work on attachment.
