Hi. You have to see a doctor, see what your immune system # is (T-cells), and VL (viral load). Then, take it from there. I am not a professional, but it was 7 years before I had to start meds. It\'s scary, it does suck, and it is a more difficult life. But, you can STILL be a mom in this day and age, under a doctor\'s care, and not transmit it to your baby. This much I know. Percentages are good. As for anyone wanting you, don\'t be desperate, and just jump into the first person who overlooks it, like I did. Always keep your values and what you want and need in a person, before YOU make a choice. There is always the right person for you out there, HIV, or not. If someone loves you, and is educated, and informed when you feel that you have a serious enough interest in them (before being intimate), then they will be in your life, if they want to be, and love you for WHO you are. If not, at least you know what they might be like with any illness later on. Good luck! I am still working through it all. You are not alone. I am a woman, been married, been divorced (I wanted out), and have a loving person I am meeting up with soon, after 8 months on the phone. They are HIV negative, and scared too. But, with the knowledge from years ago (we reconnected), they are still here. Will it work out? Maybe. Is it pity? They said \"absolutely not!\" There is always hope! Take care...
Thanks
