Sad day

Today a gunman, 24 year old Ryan Lanza entered an elementary school in Newtown, CT and killed the principal, her staff...and then walked into his mother's classroom where she was a teacher and killed her and all of her kindgarten students.....details are still coming out.
As a mother and a grandmother, I'm horrified at this tragedy.  My heart goes out to the parents, grandparents, sisters, brothers and families who are affected by this event.
I think every day about how I feel when I go on a really great date and meet someone that I think could be a potential part of my life and then I never hear from them again.....somehow it just doesn't seem to be that insurmountable because there is always someone out there who is dealing with something so much more "tragic" than the fact that some jerk didn't call me back!  I just really and truly realized this today....even though I've always known it. 
Heaven has a few more "little" angels today.....may God shine his light on us all....
