Well....

I'm working from home today and quite thankful that I have a job where they are kind enough to allow me to do so.  Given that it is basically below zero as a high today!  OY...
Lauren had to take Andrew to the hospital yesterday.  He had had a fever since Saturday and it wasn't getting better.  The dr. found out that he has pneumonia.  So I was with them all day yesterday and to top it off, she has no heat in her apartment!  Crazy...but he is in a good place and getting the greatest of care.  So glad for that...
The holiday is soon approaching...I have such mixed emotions as it gets closer.  Work has been crazy and finding it harder and harder to concentrate.  But it's good stuff all in all.  Read a great article the other day about not feeling so "down" about being alone for the holidays.  To be thankful for the blessings that you do have in your life so I'm trying to concentrate on that.
