Happy V-day to all!!!  I had the best day... Guy worked his butt off in the cold air to make the entranceway to the house look presentable once again--plowed, moved woodpiles and tractors, organized all the crap that found it's way to the end of the driveway. I baked a chocolate cake with vanilla (pink) frosting and a perfect heart of red sugar on top (perfect heart cookie cutter certainly helped).  This along with apple-cider poached chicken breasts, green beans, and baked potatoes made a lovely dinner.  Simple yet elegant, cheap yet yummy... It was a very good day for us here on the farm, and I hope it was the same for all of you! xoxoxo Cj
