Our snowfall was nothing like you folks surviving the Nor'easter (Chris1981, GrammieP), but I still did not want to drive in it. I admit it; I'm a puss! Guy drove us to town for the final tub of joint compound and 3 tubes of silicone so that we could finish the bathroom... (PPLLAAEEEZZZEEE!!!) He finished the mudding today so tomorrow is sanding, allergy issues, and painting. We are nearing the finish line!!! I made myself feel better by reorganizing stacks of crap so I could run the vacuum. I decided not to dust since Guy is sanding drywall tomorrow and it will just add another layer of fine white dust. Probably two layers will be just as easy to clean as one! All I can say is that it is everywhere! Oh, well... Spring cleaning is just around the corner so I'll just do a lick-and-a-promise cleaning and all will be fine. I am really excited now and will have to buy new rugs for the bathroom since it will be so light and airy without all the crap that was in there. We're putting up towel racks instead of towel hooks which will help plus another cupboard to hide all the crap that has been out on two shelving units. I can visualize it, and I'm so looking forward to a really organized beautiful bathroom! Allow me my fantasy land so I can survive a few more days of clutter everywhere... Poor Guy is even more ready to put this project behind him, I'm sure. He is such a trouper and is so understanding of my limitations (can't stand on a ladder, etc.). He's better at the Virgo-detailed stuff anyway (I'm a Sag=party girl!). I knew there was a good reason I paired with a Virgo...

Hi, I am so happy for you girl. I know I would be. Its always nice to have a new bathroom and especially when it is almost done. Its been alot of work but at the end its well worth it. My problem most of the time with bathrooms is the caulking. I seems like we can never do a real neat job on it and we have to change it alot. Hopefully that wont be your problem. I think the towel racks are so much better myself. Anyways what color is the walls in your bathroom? Also what color rugs are you getting? Just think it will be ready in no time. Let us know when its finished. LOL ---Mary :-)
have your camera ready. i can\'t wait for the pictures!!!
Cj, i\'m so very happy, that things are going well. You are right, spring cleaning is right around the corner! :) i\'m looking forward to spring, and hearing gardening stories, and seeing gardening pictures. :)
did you harvest sunflower seeds from your sunflowers? i harvested 1000\'s of them, and sent some to friends, and let the squirrels and birds have some, and i kept some too for baking, and also drying, so i can replant some of the seeds this year. :)
i\'m really happy for you all! :)
be sure, to take very good care. allergies are awful! in the spring and summer, when my allergies are severe, i take benedryl, but i try to avoid taking it, because it really drains my energy. if my allergies are severe, i usually take a benedryl before going to sleep.
sending lots of big hugs from CT! :)
You all take care, stay safe, keep warm. winter weather conditions can be so very harsh. Thank you, for the shoutout! :) big hugs! We\'re all surviving here. lots of snow, but it\'s melting, and another Nor\'Easter coming thursday into friday. snow, sleet, and rain. oh my!
Clapping, clapping! Yipeeeeee! Guy is great and you can tell him that from me. I can feel your excitement and I\'m so happy for you. Glad it\'s almost over. I know how dreadful and ucky the dust is, but a good vacuuming job and a Swiffer and poof! the dust is gone. (I\'m lying but I\'m trying. I still have dust in our bedroom)
Snow storm dumped lots of snow and we\'re due for another at the end of the week. WOW! this has been the winter from hell.
Watch those allergies, maybe wear a mask and thank goodness you stay off ladders.
Waiting for the finally. luv ya!!!
When Guy finishes take some pics of your new bathroom. Love Pam
