Oh my Goddess! This was such a very long day which began at 4 a.m. (the Queen wanted out to peepee and would not settle for anything less). Needless to say, I did not sleep well after be so rudely awakened... Then, off to Lowe's which is a 73 mile round trip. I clocked it from my driveway out of curiosity. It was an easy trip, hardly any traffic, no tailgaters or little old men with hats and ears in front of me. Bertha's (my truck) check gauges light came on with an overheated gauge before I even got to Lowe's. Of course, everything was fine once I got to Lowe's so I just ignored it on the way home (suspect a bad sensor--poor old Bertha, it's no shame really). Besides, I have a cell and AAA Plus so I had little reason to worry. I had a great experience at Lowe's. I find it so easy to get the help I need, and Justin was so willing to run all over the store with me and help me. In fact, when all the big items were chosen, I was off to find steel wool, and asked him to please bring everything up to the front. It was no problem at all for him to do so. I think it always helps to disclose the MS right up front. I told him that I knew I looked fine right now in the morning, but that I knew I would use all my energy at Lowe's. He was just so nice! I really could have hugged him when he put everything in my truck for me, but I just shook his hand and thanked him. I also think I need to write a thank you note to his manager because he really went the extra mile for me! Once I returned home, Guy had accomplished so much in the bathroom! I'm really getting excited as his progress has made the room look like a real room. He started installing the shower door, but he stopped as we need screws. Happily, I found them tonight in my hardware kit he bought me a couple holidays ago. I really need to spend a day at home trying to catch up with the mounds of laundry that have accumulated. Plus, a day off is needed to regenerate my energy so I can push on. Maybe I can even organize all the bathroom crap in the middle of the main room as I just don't think I need the 20 curling irons that I never use anymore. I do know that the Coshocton Goodwill will be happy to have some of that stuff. Maybe I'll even think of going through the closet...

YOU KNOW THEY ARE ALWAYS NICE LIKE THAT HERE AT LOWES IN MY TOWN TOO AND EVEN HOME DEPOT. IF ONLY WALMART WORKERS WERE AS NICE AND HELPFUL.
I\'m thinking the curling irons would make some sort of lovely garden sculpture...a tribute to Aphrodite in Demeter\'s playground. Uh-oh..I smell a catfight.
I think we feel better when things start getting done. Especially the bathroom which seems the longest to do and even the kitchen. I would love to do my bathroom over again. Yeh again this will be the 3rd time. Its so small but that means I would have to cut out a wall in there that goes into alittle bedroom which I now use for a room where you dont know where to put things. Its time for another goal this yr and get rid of alot of stuff I dont use or need. Maybe GOODWILL!!! Hopefully you will sleep good tonight. Take Care..LOL--Mary:-)
Hope you got a good night\'s rest and are feeling refreshed this morning. I too love Lowe\'s. They really are helpful and polite. We have a new one about a half hour\'s drive from here and it\'s so bright and shiny! I always loved hardware stores and when the big box hardware\'s opened I was in my glory.
