Almost 3 a.m. 
and I can't sleep... For starters, it was about 800 degrees in the house, and when PaPoo got up for her 1:30 a.m. peepee, I looked at the woodburner. The front flue was not completely shut down... The man must have not been paying attention when he came to bed, but he also sleeps in his underwear so probably likes the extra heat. Personally, I had to take the queen outside without a coat to cool off!
So, here I sit on the computer without my glasses on which normally makes my eyes sleepy... Been on here almost an hour, and so far, my trick does not seem to be working. I'm now in a T-shirt and shorts instead of my Omar the Tent Maker flannel pants (yeah, they are that big). I'/m still a bit warm, but not sweltering anymore...
I did notice how terribly cloudy it is tonight, and I'm hoping we have clearer skies tomorrow night so that I can see Luna shining down upon my little piece of paradise!

Oh, Cj ... I didn\'t sleep either and if I had known you were up, we could have had tea together. Drats!! So, still nothing is wrapped but I did go to Wal*Mart yesterday and buy every size gift bag they have. No wrapping for me. Just put the stuff in bags and I\'m ready to rock and roll!
Hon is off skiing and the electrician is in the basement wiring the water softener on it\'s own designated plug. I sit here when I should be wrapping. But now I\'m tired from not sleeping last night. Such craziness.
Lily has done nothing but bark since electric man came and she\'s giving me a headache. She\'s a good protector but enough is enough.
Well hon, I have to get going or Christmas will have come and gone and I\'ll have missed the whole thing. Good grief. Please give thoughts to my friend Bill who died of AIDS on this day (at the moment I can\'t remember how many years ago, shame on me) back in the early, early 80\'s. I miss him so.

i hate it when i forget to turn the heat down before i go to sleep. being too warm will always keep me up when my bladder gets me up. i do enjoy the quiet time in my house though. my rotty and get some good bonding time
