Finally took the time to apply that "special condition" on my hair this evening before the gray took over my entire world... Been using the "special condition" since high school; gee, thanks Mom! (I get it from her as does my sistour...) It's OK, it lets me choose my color and gives my fine hair more body.Pups and I did more walking than I thought. My legs are aching tonight and I have "hamburger feet", but I will sleep well! It felt good to get out in the brisk air, and all the dogz wrestled with each other. PaPoo, the Schnauzer in my picture, is BigBig's girlfriend! She is sooooo happy he came home. She thinks she is bigger than him (at 16 lbs.)--he's only 90 pounds or so... I really need to get some batteries for the camera so that I can take more pictures. The boyz would like to be represented as well, and I only have regular pictures of them. Duh, I guess I could scan them...It's a quiet night here on the farm. Heading into winter is always like that. The darkness at 5:20 p.m. makes the evening so much longer. The pups are already in BeddyBedTime, but I have news to break to the Queen, she is going OUT one more time so maybe I can sleep the entire night through. Her new habit is to want out at 3 a.m. And, guess who is always elected to take her out...

I want some of that \"special conditioner\" is there a secret ingredient? The dogs are friskey because they can smell winter in the air. Do they like snow or want to stay inside by the fire? Do you have a woodburning stove? When we lived in the country we had one and one night my husband was working and I threw a piece of hedge in it. It scared me to death! I thought the roof was going to catch on fire! Well learned my lesson on hedge.

I love this time of year and living in the country! Nothing like heat from a woodstove to warm your body and heart! I love the smells too!! YEA

I miss the long days...but I enjoy the sun almost being up when I get out of bed at 5:45...I know I get up early. I too am starting to get annoyed with my gray. You can\'t see them so much as they blend with my haircolor....they like to stick straight up in the air. It\'s quite unsettling and annoying. Oh well...there\'s always my trusted ponytail.
I hate this time of year! Winters are so long here and I miss being out in my garden puttering around. Today Hon and I brought in all the garden decor and now it really looks dull. Things are cut down to the ground, (except for a few things) trees are almost bare and the world has turned brown. Darkness hits early and I hate walking Lily in the dark. Too scary with all the wild animals lurking about! We also set up the birdfeeders as bears have gone nite-night and won\'t be around till Spring. That was fun.
I will be mostly hibernating till Spring like the bears. Won\'t drive on roads that are slick with ice and snow. The mountains have a little snow on them and I can see them from the kitchen window and porch. Brrrr.....
My hair is completely silver and has been since I was about 30. Thank you Nana! I can\'t be bothered coloring it. Wht you see is what yu get!!!
