I was reading some journals that got me thinking about my charmed life. I'm glad I bought this farm because HERE, I know I belong. The fact is never questioned, and it's made a tremendous difference in my preception of my world. I love that everyone thinks Guy is my husband referring to him as Mr. Crawford. Nothing could be further from the truth. I often don't correct them just because I like that they make HIM take MY name (which is really my father's name, but I am a Crawford woman, through and through).Life can be funny. If you had told me 20 years ago that I'd be divorced, I would have never believed it. Further, if you would have told me that I would buy a 20 acre farm on my own with no husband, never would I have believed that. Yet, here I sit with a great life. I mean, sure the man can be Mr. Poopy Pants, but he did build my house, 3 barns, a greenhouse, and a beautiful picturesque farm for me. I've always said there is something to be said for "sweat equity" of which Guy has earns buttloads. And, yet, legally it is my farm. I took a leap of faith buying this place, but he's taken a bigger leap building it.Funny how life goes, isn't it?

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS FOR YOU. WE BOUGHT 10 ACRES IN THE COUNTRY THAT OVERLOOKS THE MISSOURI RIVER. IN BACK OF IT IS A APPLE AND PEACH ORCHARD. WE NEED TO BUILD A RANCH HOME BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW BIG I WANT IT. I THINK SMALL BECAUSE I WOULD BE ABLE TO CLEAN IT. DO YOU THINK YOUR SMALL HOUSE IS EASIER TO KEEP CLEAN?
You are living my dream. Funny...I don\'t envy you. I think it\'s because you truly appreciate the gift you have. That\'s the beauty of your life. Keep living it Cj...I hope to join you some day soon. -Jen
