What a day! It was nice out though chilly so I decided to put some plants to bed. I planted my bee balms from pots into the garden then dumped flower pots from the back porch around them. This was a useless exercise as we are expecting a heavy frost tonight... I really exhausted myself outside though the most difficult task was dragging my wagon out of the garden barn since Mr. Poopy Pants had it buried under other crap...On my way in the front door, I fell into the new much taller dresser (I know, weird place for a dresser, but it's the only place it will fit in my little house--antique and pretty so it looks fine). I bruised my cheek pretty good and when I showed Mr. Poopy Pants saying I'd just tell everyone he did it, he said if he had, it would be much worse (joking but true). One of my friend's journals alluded to the abuse aspect of our falls once; I was questioned very seriously when I went to the hospital with a broken hand once to which I responded "Absolutely not" to the question of possible abuse. I do hate being a total klutz and MS has just added to this already-existing problem...Optimistically, this should be my LAST NIGHT OF DIAL-UP as the satallite is to be installed tomorrow!!! Mr. Poopy Pants financed that little project so I really should just be gushing about him. We seem to have a love-hate relationship... I love to hate him and I hate to love him... It all works somehow... Probably because he is either in his basement or his barn, and not under my feet! He's a good guy, and we're both hard with which to live. I guess when you're single at 42 (me) and never married at 49 (him), you tend to get set in your ways. We've been hanging out together for 10 years, and we've just gotten used to each other... It works...

Hello my friend ... Hon and I planted what I hope is the last of \'em. I\'m not sure if we\'re having a frost though. Hope not, I\'m not ready for everything to look brown and yucky! I\'m glad you got some stuff done and hope your garden is ready to go ni-nights.
Good grief, girlfriend, I feel terrible that you fell and banged your face. Puleez try and be more careful. You could have lost an eye.
I understand that hospitals have to ask those hard questions, but it sure is embarassing when nothing happened but being a klutz. :-)
Hon and I survived helping Beth move upstairs. The apartment is nice and big with good light, all new windows and doors and the floors look like they were recently refinished. It is kind of a weird set-up the way the rooms are arranged but it suits her and Hon and I will have a place to stay over night when we go see our little Sophie. Fortunately, she had enough men to help and that was great. Daughter-in-law and baby Sophie came and I mostly played with Sophie. God, she\'s so damn cute. She\'s just lerned to take a couple of steps. She does it and we don\'t think sihe realizes what she\'s done!
Hon and I went hiking today and it was so much fun. A beautiful sunny day, cool, bordering on cold, but the sun was shining and we kept moving. We weren\'t out too long as I was getting really tired plus I tripped over something and fell. Fortunately, I didn\'t get hurt. What a klutz! Even my walking stick didn\'t help.
You take care and put a bag of frozen peas on that face of yours!
hugs, Marti
I know Joe Montana is lurking around your farm...be careful. He\'s going to try and save you.
