Such a LONG puppy day here on the farm... I knew I would regret it, but this morning I had hauled water to my 16 fruit trees and bushes along with the pine tree we put in this summer... Ugh... I will be sleeping very well tonight! I'm glad I did it though and the trees are smiling for it. It is supposed to rain Tuesday, but these weathermen have been wrong so many times. I've decided to take matters into my own hands since the well seems to be well recovered from running it dry a couple of weeks ago. This is my last night alone, and I've decided to have ice cream for dinner. I had a late lunch of nachos with cheese so I'll think about it later in the evening. I'll be glad to have my partner home even if it means I'll have to make real meals. Actually, it's probably a good thing for me as well, and the company will be wonderful. Since I left the farm on Tuesday, and Amy came Thursday, more human contact is what I crave at this point.Stepped on poor Sparky's tootsie today. I told him I was sorry, but maybe the pain will be a reminder to him not to dance around my feet when he wants to go for a walk. I don't mind taking them (he would go endlessly if he could), but the dancing around my legs is irritating especially since I knew I'd step on him. Oh, well, maybe today's stepping on will be all it will take. PaPoo is very careful about such things, but I've stepped on her before as well. Poor abused puppies!!! (LOL--spoiled is more like it)I'm happy the Ohio Buckeyes (college football) are on tonight! O-H! I-O! to all you fans out there! My partner could care less, so I'm glad to enjoy the game alone... My friend Miss Judie would be proud! Maybe I should try to find some scarlet and grey to wear during the game...
