I really don't even like watermelon... However, I just ate a quarter of a Black Diamond Yellow Flesh Watermelon picked from the garden yesterday, and allowed a night for cooling... OH MY GODDESS!  I think I just ate the sun and the rain and a wonderful portion of our Mother Earth!!!  That was, no doubt, Heaven on Earth in terms of culinary consumption.  YYYYYUUUUMMMMBOOO!!!!  And to think that there are 10 more out there... 1/2 in the fridge just for me as Guy goes North for work tomorrow.Think about it, no cooking for 2 or 3 days, 1/2 a watermelon left over along with a piece of pizza and a couple of eggs.  I am set for a few days...  Let me not forget the daily fresh Arkansas Traveller tomatoes and a couple zucchini still that are young, small, and yummy.  I won't even mention the peppers that are still awaiting (I mean, the 3 1/2 hours of preserving peppers barely touched the surface of what I have yet in the garden).I humble submit my thanks to the Earth Mother and Great Goddess for the bounty I am experiencing!  Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!  I am truly blessed!

You are. Nothing tastes better then what we grow ourselves. I picked a basket of Yellow Pear tomatos I started from seed today, and I\'ll probably do the same tomorrow. So yummy. Squash, Lemon cucumbers, plums, onions......amazing. All from a little seed.
