I experienced a complete miracle today!  I am still awestruck with the bounty that I received today.  It has been terribly hot in Ohio this week, so I figured it was a good day to stay inside the AC of the house.  I got up at the "butt-crack of dawn" (really early in my house) and headed out to the garden while it was still in the shade (as it is only early in the morning).I returned to the house with an entire basket of peppers--bell peppers, "boyfriend" peppers (9" long, 2" thick), purple peppers, and even one red pepper.  My glorious miracle bestowed upon me from Heaven above took me 3 1/2 hours to clean, cut, process, and freeze giving me a perfect excuse to stay in the AC.Now, here in the real miracle.  The woman with the brown thumb started all of her plants in her garden from little tiny seeds way back in March.  I babied them, I talked to them, I transplanted them, and finally on a couple of cool mornings, I planted them in the garden.  Do you know the miracle of taking a seed to plant to fruit in one short summer?  It is a glorious thing that can do nothing but start your day singing in the garden, singing at the kitchen table knife in hand, singing to flash freeze (tricky with my current cookie trays), and singing to store in zippy bags for the winter.I am truly a blessed woman!  If I had not been diagnosed with MS, I would have NEVER taken the time from my buzy-puppy-life to spend a day putting up peppers!  Without MS, I would still be working my butt off (for myself or otherwise) to make money.  I would have never taken the time to experience such a marvelous miracle!I recommend to anyone with an incurable disease such as MS to grow a garden from little tiny seeds (even just a container garden).  The world takes on a new colour, and that colour is green!  Miracles happen everyday on my farm--I am truly blessed!
