Sorry
OK I'm sorry! I know it's been a long time since I posted on here and no there is no excuse for it. A lot has happened since I last threw myself off the Hay stack but I am at least still alive and have not had any new PE's. I guess that's kind of good. However I did have a hemorrhagic stroke (Brain Bleed) this past November which landed me in the ICU for 5 days and then in the regular unit for another 4, yes I know, a fine kettle of fish huh? The good part about it was I did manage to shoot my deer (While having said stroke), then drove myself to work before I realized something was seriously wrong. Anyway to long of a story to go into and bore you all to death with. Currently I am not on Coumadin as they want the bleed to dissipate and not get larger as they really don't want to do surgery and evacuate it. I kind of agree with that idea. So in the meantime Doctor said watch my BP and don't get stressed, LOL Yea right and what about the stress of worrying about having another PE? OK so I survived the Bleed, and I am attempting to continue on with my life. I have managed to be able to shoot my bow as often as I can in my backyard archery range and I do OK, so long as I keep my left eye closed which is weird getting used to as I have always shot with both eyes open. I can now drive my ATV so long as I do not go over 7 MPH, so I can plow snow. The bad part is I have no peripheral vision in my right eye, my fingers do not always type what I think my brain is saying and I cannot count backwards from 100 by 7. The Neurosurgeon also informed me I can no longer drive a motor vehicle but I can ride my horse so long as he understand not to do anything stupid. Yea OK he's a horse. Other than that I am still the same old me doing things I probably shouldn't do because I refuse to let anything over run my life. At least if I die, I'll go doing the things I love the most.
I hope this post finds all my friends on DS well and hanging in there. I honestly do miss you all, it's just life got in the way.

Honestly it\'s good that life got in the way. You should never apologize for going out and living. I\'m glad you\'ve been doing well up until the brain bleed, and I\'m sorry you\'ve been through that and it\'s slowing you down some, but if I know you, it definitely will not get the better of you!
