Exhausted
OK so maybe I'm not invincible after all. I have found that working 5 days a week and holding down 2 jobs is physically and mentally exhausting. I had to drop teaching my water aerobics classes because physically I just couldn't keep up the pace anymore besides getting up at 4:30 AM after getting home at 11 PM the night before just didn't give me enough sleep. I kept my job at the nursing home because I have become attached to the residents, however as soon as a position at the hospital becomes available I'm going to try applying there. The hours are better and I don't think the work is quite so physically demanding as at a nursing home. I hate the fact that I tire so easily any more and the other night my blood pressure was 154/101 with a HR of 108, yes i have been watching my blood pressure and HR and keeping a record of things so I can report them to my primary care physician. No I haven't told my husband because he freaks at the slightest thing. I received my new PT/INR monitor and its so different that the other one i was using. this one looks so much easier and is a lot more accurate if .1 can be considered not very accurate. this one does a diagnostics check every time you turn it on and I can plug it in to my computer and everything is uploaded to the doctors office and the company that supplies all my testing materials. Kind of cool. My insurance company was wonderful and paid for all but 62.00 of the total 4, 565.98 cost, so that isn't to bad. I didn't attend my dog training this week at all either as i was just physically drained. I went to bed last night around 9 PM and didn't get up until 10 this morning when Maks was jumping up and down on my face doing the "I HAVE TO GO POTTY NOW" dance. Ok the last thing I'm going to Bytch about is the fact that I turn 55 next week. UHG! I'm not looking forward to that at all and then the following week I get to go in for that dreaded colonoscopy I'm double not looking forward to the lovenox shots in the stomach while I'm off the coumadin, Life is so unfair. I know, I know, Who said life was fair.
