815 days!: A Daily Choice

I will never stop counting how many days it's been since I've quit smoking.  I think this is one of the reasons why I am able to stay quit daily.  Somehow being able to say the exact # of days I've been smoke-free for makes me feel that much better of myself.  That much more conscious of my daily choice, because that's just exactly what it is: a daily choice.  Just like it's a daily choice to be honest with the people I love, and a daily choice not to drink, and a daily choice to just be a better person.  A daily choice to have faith that my higher power has my best interests in mind, and those interests may not always be what I want, but they will always be what I need.  I thank God and my Al-Anon program, and this website and myself for getting me where I am today.  Thank you.
