Ups and downs.

Well, I have to say I am feeling achy.  While cleaning up a cat mess on Tuesday past, my feet went from under me.  I landed on my left side, with the previously broken wrist under the area treated with radiaton.  First I feared the wrist broke again.  It did  hurt.  Then I recalled reading that radiaton can weaken bones so I feared broken ribs.  That are also hurt.  I still hurt there but can deep-breath with little to no pain.  The hand and wrist are colorful.  I had blood pressure checkup on Thursday.  The PA-C insisted on zrays for the wrist.  I am sure it was only badly sprained.  I am able to use it, I can make a fist.  The swelling has gone down.  No word on the xray Friday so I am confident the wrist is okay.
Then I happened to mention this'rash' for lack of better word on my calf.  I said I figure it has something to do with being on the blood thinner.  Well, he ordered blood tests to see what might be causing that.  After he ges the results, he'll make an appointment for another scan to see what is up with the clot in the femoral vein.  If it's gone I can get off the blood thinner then get rid of this port.  After that I am done with hospitals.
Oh, this new cat needs an exorcist.  Anybody know one?  Just kidding.  I can only hope Saint Francis will bless him and chase out his demons.    This morning, the cat went ofter another one, again.  They had fur flying.  Sister tossed water on the new cat to try breaking up the fight, then put her foot in front of him to keep him from going after Junior.  New cat bit and scratched her foot.  She   washed it really well and put something on it.  Said it hurts like "____".
She brought him in from the woods.  Since he was already neutered.maybe his biting is why he was in the woods.
