Hi all.I was in hospital from the 11th to the 18th, with blood clot in my leg. That is what made it so swollen. I was given Lovenox shots, which have my belly tender and bruised. They stopped them when I got out, thank goodness. Neither sister nor I could work up nerve to stab me in the belly.I will be on Coumadin for who knows how long. I already checked---that will not put halt to the cancer treatments. I did miss one of them, throwing my schedule off. I did switch multi-vitamins. I had been taking a liquigel that had 50% of daily need of vitamin K. I found store brand that has Iron but no K. So now I can have my salads and BLTs with iceberg lettuce.I feel great, otherwise. Felt wonderful to sleep in my own bed. I am eating again. Even planning to cook some meals the coming week.After being in bed for 8 days, I am not rushing into chores. taking time to regain my strength. I sit on the porch watching the wildlife and feeding a chipmunk. Little begger is stashing the nuts in a hole in the house foundation. I nod off in front of the TV, with one or two cats on my lap.
