80's today and some rain//cat finally went outside again//started the deep clean on the kitchen

i'm up north.  it rained this morning and then stopped and got warm.  still in the 80's.  yay!  reminds me of south florida weather as this is how it is down there most of the fall and winter, keeps me in a good mood.  really miss the ten months of summer that everyone has down there and in the bahamas.  perfect weather.  so, started on the pulling out what i can to begin painting and serious cleaning kind of thing.  there is soooo much to do.  also found stain for the deck but i know i can't use it, i need regular deck paint first.  bobp hasn't called back yet about the gates.  wth?  i'll call byn to get another price but its crazy because bobp took all the measurements and he's usually reliable.  or was.  

the cat that came inside that belongs outside finally left.  why in the world did it do that?  it cries to be petted, but may run away during being petted, very strange and then cries to go out, but won't go if you open the door.   i think it is crying to its mother and cries for food even though there is dry food out all the time.   its already fixed.    its very verbal.  it was sticking its head way out the window, it was sunny at one point today and i guess it finally decided, hey, i rather be out there.    so now there is only one left that does the yowling and noise thing, unless they are fighting - i think i'm going to call the neighbor behind w to see if they have the manx that used to yowl a lot and is missing.  the neighbor from the corner was by because the little dog got out of the fence.  grrr.  i said it can't be, i just let it out five minutes ago and she starts laughing and says then it went straight out.  wish it wouldn't do that.  and its lying on the lounge chair on the deck as though it didn't do anything wrong and never left the deck.  that dog LOVES sunning itself on the lounge chair and never wants to come in so surprised it did anything wrong.  
 
g says someone called to complain either that the dog was howling, the dogs howl at trains and sirens - they are hounds - hounds howl, i can't stop them from doing that or that the one cat was yowling at another cat?     so i call rn and i'm like, you aren't going to believe this.  its stuff like that, that makes people stop doing rescue, its not the animals, the work or the expense, its the harassment.   its like get a life - get a second job (or a first job?), you obviously have too much time on your hands if you are complaining about something like that.  seriously.  
had rn look up the dosage for erythromycin.  according to the catalog on tylan and tylosin that they are using for this ongoing respiratory thing some of the animals are getting, erythromycin is the same as tylan  but also used for other things.  who knows what to do.  it could also be allergy - or is it from the pesticides in the food?  it could be.   the doctor will say, first try this and if this doesn't work, try this.  doctors are "practicing" that is why they call it a practice and they are practicing on us.  pretty scary.  tylan is the generic form of tylosin and more mild than tylosin.  
cleaned out the toilet in the other bathroom with a half gallon of bleach to clear the line that k was talking about - i should have worn a mask for that as its harsh to breathe in that much bleach.    its basically deep cleaning and touch ups in there.  same in the kitchen.  want to paint the baseboards as well and the window sills.  need to start boxing all the books as i can't SEE print that is small anymore, so why keep them, and drop them off somewhere.  they have used books at the library, at timeshare, at church and most charities.  i would still use goodwill but they claim goodwill is NOT a charity, its for profit and the owner was listed on line.  united way is also NOT a charity.  never knew that.  i have a list on here somewhere of the ones that are and are not charities.  its actually easiest to give to church as that is definitely charity.  wonder if there is a church in NEED of books as our church always has too much stuff.  also was relieved to see the orange cat running around at the house up north, so at least its still okay.  it won't come near any of us though.  
they have that jesus thing going on in orlando, where they have a small Bethlehem and re-enactments - i think its $22 to get in.  they also have one similar to it locally that is FREE.  its the church's gift to the community and they serve baked goods and coffee etc. afterward - all free.  they have camels and horses and everyone is dressed up - very cool, they hire local actors and church members to act it out "re-enactors" all unpaid-volunteers.  they have a drive-through Bethlehem as well at another church further west of that one.  its worth going to.  total mind blower, but the wait is very long for both, so bring food and drink to keep in your car and give yourself a break - even with entertainment by their band and choir, you are waiting at least one hour to be toured through it with a guide.  its always packed.  they really need to advertise the events more so people know they are out there.  
i'm still eating leftover stuffing and cranberry.  not really into it though and its bad for my heart.   have a bunch of payroll work to do.  a LOT of screw ups on the last bunch of paychecks and have to send in corrections.  the screw ups are generally from adp, they claim.
