Today I got my blood results back and everything was normal. I had no blood clots or infections. So my doctor once again said that she's pretty sure the miscarriage was due to a weak cervix. In a way I'm glad that all my blood work came back normal. That means there was nothing wrong with me or the baby and I should be good the next time I concieve (hopefully). Then again, I'm sad because I wish I knew that I had a weak cervix and all this could have been prevented. I would have been six months. I have another appointment on the 19th to see a perinatal specialist. She's going to talk to me about the cerclage and the risks. I feel better now and I hope everything goes well in the next few months. Hopefully I'll stop bleeding.
