So this wasnt my month... I got a basil therometer, I dont really understand how it tells much, any help please??? Im suppose to be ovulating oct. 3-8, so I need some input soon... My sister in law is pregnant, due in June,,, Im happy for her. I thought I was too but maybe next month.. Hope everyone has a great week....

You just take your temp everyday starting from day one of your cycle. Once you ovulate, your temp should go up noticably and stay up until you start your period, in which case it drops off. If you are pregnant, it is suppose to stay elevated Good luck next month.
Sorry to hear. My understanding is that ovulation is alot shorter than that2-3 dyas.. When I was trying to get pg my MD said not to have sex right before ovulation because that would reduce the sperm count. Hoping and praying for you, Dawn
maybe you should try the lh surge strips, i\'ve heard the basal temp can give you incorrect readings if you make the slightest error. also, you only ovulate for 1-2 days not 5 days. good luck. praying for you. love and hugs, meg
