I haven't been on here much as you all know DS is having trouble again...I miss everyone and can't wait to meet the newest moms this year at the Boston Ma., Cape Cod retreat, it will be different for me as I've only been on 4 retreats, this is the first one that hasn't been in the mountain range for me. Every retreat is different between ocean and mountains. These are the closest feelings of being in heaven with our children, very powerful places to be with all our FMO friends..The best feeling ever is to be with the moms who are going through the same experience with the lost of our precious Sons & Daughters... Without you moms I don't think I'd be able to go on as strong as I am..We all are in different stages in the grieving process which helps every one of us. We all need each other, the newest moms who have recently lost a child will feel faith, strength and hope that yes you will be OK.. Us Moms who have been through more years have more time behind us to understand what YOU NEW MOMS are at in the earlier grieving process. WE NEED YOU NEW MOMS as much as YOU NEED US MOMS, its how it works...We all share our experience strength and hope with each other, we will always have each other...
I noticed when us moms get together it is an intent feeling of LOVE, it is a feeling we can't explain, WE ALL NOW..We feel at home with one another as if we have always been together..We get certain signs of our child letting us know they are ok. I've had DaJa'Vu feelings of being together in our past life, a feeling only our own spirit and soul knows, its our brains that get in the way of our soul...Ok I'm getting a little DEEP as some people would say that don't have a loss of a child..
I need to journal a little more, so many things have past by and events dreams, and etc.. By the time I want to write what's going on I don't know where to start.. I need to make time once a week and spend time in a private and quiet place with me and my GOD, when I do that it is him shaking it out of me, and it is when I feel the best!!!! Today is a good day the sun was out 2 hours ago now it is cloudy, I will be weeding my flower gardens with Ryan in my heart and soul! MY LOVE GROWS SO MUCH being outside in the gardens, nature is so beautiful, I walk Jake (yorkie) and Ginger (parmerainan) on these beautiful trails, the trails go into the woods for miles, it is for walking jogging, walking dogs, bike riding, in the winter people cross country ski...It is the most awesome feeling out in the woods, it is wet land all around it, so nice..The dogs run and run they have so much fun, knowing they are happy makes me happy!!!! Love you all SO much! XOXO Kelly

\" its our brains that get in the way of our soul.\" That is so true Kelly, I love this statement.

I love this journal, so very thoughtful. You summed up what the retreats are all about so clearly.

Can\'t wait to see you again.
Hugs,
Terry

Kelly, I completely agree with what you say about the new Moms and the \"longer- on- the- road\" Moms...(who wants to be called an \"old\" Mom, right?!) Hope you have a great rest of the summer! Love, Donna
