Last night we had another windy rainy night. We lost power for a few hours, the cellar flooded again. yuk!!. At least it wasn't as  bad as last week..Last week, we had 75 mile an hour winds, a foot of rain. We lost power in the middle of the night, so that mean't we had a foot of water in our cellar.. Some of you may have seen my "twin grey kittens" on my photos..Well, When I got up in the morning, (last week)  I opened the cellar door, 1/2 way down the stars, I noticed it was to dark to see how much water we had in the cellar. So as I turned around to get a flash light, my kittens were running down with me. All of a sudden I heard a big splash..I looked and only saw 1 kitty, I yelled OMG!!, get me a flash light one of the kittens fell in. It was to dark to see where the it went. My b/f heard my yell to get a flash light, I'm running around like a lunatic. I'm thinking the kitty drown. My b/f ran down the stairs with a flash light, with me tailing him. He said, I see her swimming, as he shined the light in the kittens glowing round eyes,  swimming towards him. I looked and saw her too. I said grab her quick..My bf Lan grabbed her, ran her up the stairs, through her on top floor. The kitten landed with all 4 legs, spread eagle, laying there. I had a nice fluffy blanket, wrapped the kitty in it.. At first she had no movement, as though she was in shock or dead. I rubbed her, and she started to shake..I held her wrapped up in the blanket, until she was dry & fluffy again. She has been so close to me since. The kittens names are spooky & shadow. It was spooky who fell in....So last night when we lost power,  the cellar was filling up with water, I opened the cellar door to look and see how much water we got, it was't much, maybe 5 inches.. So I walked down the stairs, both kittens were following me again. I saw how spooky was a bit afraid to go any further, but shadow was all excited to run down with me. So I grabbed shadow and dipped her paws in the water and they both ran up the stairs, as fast as they could. lol ..Now it is monday, green smiley day, its still raining, the power is on, there is NO water in the cellar, so now I'm happy I still have my kittens alive & safe..........Love & Hugs to all my friends!!  Kelly

What a picture in my mind...loved the story! We\'ve been lucky to have sunny, warmer weather and I sure wouldn\'t even know what it\'s like to have a cellar - I don\'t think I want to find out either. Hugs, Valerie
