Mary Magdalene Current mood:  rejuvenated Category: Writing and Poetry Mary MagdaleneHer passion for her Teacher, her Master-her Lord, burned like the sun, which rose again in her soul.Free from the powers of darkness and death, she followed him from heaven on earth, and sweet renewal...to the saddest night that she, and He, had ever known or would ever know. But even when it seemed,as if her spiritwould drown with grief-the heart of a womandrew her back to the tomb, and compassion would not let her weary body restuntil she had served him one last time...."where have you taken Him?"she asked the man she thought was the gardener...but at the word, "Mary"...she was renewed, and made whole again, just like the first time she heard Him speak her name.Pure, bright tears flowed, and there was hope in the morning air. HE lived, and yet lives!authors notes: The story of Jesus' ressurection can be found in all the gospels of the new testament, and I think the most detailed acount of Mary's life is in Luke. I am studying the women of the bible with my grandma, and that, and the glory of Easter Sunday morning was my inspiration. Currently listening:Mighty to SaveBy Hillsong LiveRelease date: 2006-09-05
