Day 15
Yesterday was all and all a good day. Today, it's raining and I am so sleepy. My energy is not anywhere I need it to be, but today is my Thursday at work and I have big plans this weekend to keep me busy! It's the silence in the house that kills me. My Gregg is such a talker and as much as that used to annoy me, I miss it now that it's gone. But the phone calls do help and the visits aren't what I want them to be, but I am lucky to see him when I can. I have signed up for bible study and he is doing the same. Something that we can do together in a sense. I am also staying busy!

Try having the tv on or music on when you get home......yep the silence is so loud! Yeah visits ar ed never how you want them to be but at least you can see him for a little bit take what you can get they can be easy to lose.
We used to watch the same tv shows and read the same books.
The key to getting through this is don\'t stay in your house by your self all of the time. You may want to burrow in, and just shut out the world, but that will only make it worse. I found that talking to others at first was not anything I wanted to do. But eventually, you have to get somewhat of a normal life back. You said you are staying busy, so that\'s great. It will make a difference.
Coming home to an empty house always made me cry. I would walk in, and cry \" honey I\'m home\" like I used to. Just a habit I had. Then bawl my eyes out. So ya learn to do different things, things different ways.
It\'s good you signed up for the bible study already. HAHA you said you are doing it together. We do that. We used to read the same books, or watch certain shows \" together\", so we felt we were knowing what the other was doing at the same time. You are getting the idea right away on some of this.
When they first go away, you can\'t expect that you can just do everything like you are supposed to do. This is a big upheaval in your life. Life the way you know it is gone for now. Everything you do you will have memories of what it was like just a short while ago.
Mine has been gone almost 2 years. He was home 10 months after being in 3.5 years the last time. So I am real used to going through this and it is never easy, but I find ways to survive. We have to. We don\'t get a choice. We love them, so we stick it out. Most do anyway.
Finding DS years ago when my son and fiance were both in prison, saved me. Other people out here don \'t get the emotions we go through. These people on here truly get what we are feeling because they are too. There is nothing you can\'t say or ask on here. You will have many friends.
