Been a fast week, would leave for work around 5:50 am & get home around 9 pm, so didn't have time or energy to write. Or get groceries, we're down to oatmeal and cheese, so gotta go today. Keeping busy helps, but then you get exhausted & more prone to emotional breakdown.
Been on Cymbalta 5 days, I think it has sustained the "numbness" state of mind I'm in, but too early to tell if it helps, I guess.
We had a wonderful evening, spent it with both daughters & their families at a restaurant, it was my husband Kin's birthday. I haven't had time to get a present or card, but I know that last night was a lift for both of us, & Kin was really excited & happy because we surprised him by all being there. We are so lucky to have our girls & their families right here in town, just being with them makes us feel better.

I hope the cymbalta helps. I am soo glad you have your daughters and their families to lift you and your hubby. I am sure he understands about gifts and a card. right now we are not expected to do the little things we always did when life was normal. I too just went grocery shoping, I hadn\'t gone since before my Gilbert went to heaven. I just did not want to be around all the people. I am getting better at it though. Lots of love and hugs melissa
